Dear Members (PATTAYA)
It's with great pleasure to inform you all that Isaac and Somboon passed
their general flying test yesterday and now both of them hold a U P L
licence.
I also passed my instuctors I.P. rating and am now confirmed to instruct
on Delta wing microlights.
As you can see on the attached pilots overview the coloured segments are
disappearing fast. Main points are Kenny and Leo but hopefully these will
be confirmed very soon as finalized by the DOA.
The approval of the 5 year permits for Ad, Isaac, Tiger and Paul should be
ready very soon and this will be a major obstacle overcome.
Chuck, Ad and Kenny are due to sit their written exams on the 18th August
and we all wish them the best of luck for this.
All going well we should be able to have a good turn out of aircraft from
the club to go to Hua Hin on the 2nd September. Col Amrung has kindly
offered accommodation or we can have the option of camping at Ban Chong
airfield. If possible can you inform me of your intentions for this as the
Colonel needs to sort out the list for the DOA.
